Aal & Associates is a licensed, full service Private Investigation firm dedicated to delivering real results at affordable prices. We specialize in infidelity cases and have acquired in excess of 18,000 hours of actual covert surveillance experience, making Aal & Associates Bay Area surveillance experts. Our second specialty is difficult Service of Process cases, (where the target of service is actively avoiding service or simply hard to find). We employ discrete investigative techniques to locate and serve individuals when process servers and/ or law enforcement have come up empty handed. Extensive experience, investigative know-how, and the very latest high-tech surveillance equipment makes us the Bay Area surveillance experts. Established in 2008. Mark Aal worked his first surveillance assignment in 1985, while working at a Los Gatos investigation firm while attending San Jose State University. Mr. Aal eventually transferred to San Diego State University where he majored in Administration of Criminal Justice. Several years later, Mr. Aal left his position as an executive at Target Corporation investigating internal theft and fraud, and began working as a full time investigator for a large firm in Sacramento, CA. with a goal to acquire 6,000 hours of field investigation required before one can take the CA state P.I. licensing exam. Mr. Aal secured the required hours in 2008 and passed the state exam on the first attempt. Aal Investigations was started in San Bruno, CA, and has since moved to downtown Tiburon, CA. where the name of the agency was changed to Aal & Associates. .
