Send a Case Brief
Share the situation through secure intake so the Investigator can evaluate scope, timing, and next steps.
Step 04
Agree on Terms
Discuss scope, timing, and pricing directly with the Investigator in your secure messages. You agree the details between yourselves — NearbySpy does not collect payment or act as a middleman for fees.
Step 05
Track Progress
Use the Client dashboard for shared Operations, secure Evidence, progress updates, and professional deliverables.
Step 06
Review and Close
When the Case is complete, review the experience so future Clients can find the right Investigator faster.
Pricing & payment
NearbySpy is a directory and connection platform. After you reach out to a private investigator, the two of you discuss scope and pricing directly in your secure messages. Payment is arranged between you and the investigator — NearbySpy does not collect funds on the PI's behalf or hold money in escrow.
Most investigators are happy to do a free first call to figure out whether your case is a good fit. Use the search to find one who covers your area.
For Private Investigators
NearbySpy gives licensed PIs a professional marketplace profile and a direct path to qualified Clients. Set your specialties, coverage areas, and profile details, then receive Case briefs from people who need exactly what you offer.
