After my aunt passed in 2014 - These people have been harassing my 85 yr old mother, and got (scammed) my 90 yr old aunt and 87 yr old uncle to sign something. They seem very professional by investing in shipping overnight FedEx documents under the guise of being a legitimate business. I just found out today hearing my mom on the phone. Calling my lawyer tomorrow. I dont know how anyone could work for this company & sleep at night. Beware! Stay away I am relentless and I will not back down on this one. Taking advantage of seniors. Shame.

If you are receiving inheritance, please do not enlist a law group like this one. Legally, the Estate has to give you the money without legal representation. The Estate also has to legally track down every living relative to distribute funds to them if the Estate is intestate and ARB is not part of this research. Nothing is required by the inheritor besides your tax information. Please do not be scammed out of your money by these people who do practically nothing but send emails to the estate asking for "updates" in exchange for 10% of the inheritance you receive. The Estate process legally takes time and these "updates" do nothing to aid or speed the process. The updates only "prove" that the lawyer is doing something, when the reality is they are simply sending an email.

These are the good guys. True professionals. American Research Bureau provides a critical service when heirs need to be located. Without them to provide accurate, verifiable family chart information and substantiating documentation, heirs who are entitled to receive money from an intestate estate would often never see it. I know I can depend on them when it comes to obtaining information to determine the rightful heirs to an estate. Their integrity, attention to detail, and their patient, courteous staff make them a pleasure to do business with!

We were not informed of our cousins passing by the family. Without the help of American research bureau we would not of known of her passing. We are sorry that the immediate family did not want any involvement by the distant relatives. The American research bureau was very cordial and helpful in resolving the matter at hand in a timely manner. If you are contacted by these folks, it is probably because they have been commissioned by a probate attorney to find legal heirs of a decedent. They will ask you to sign over a percentage of the inheritance that you are rightfully and legally entitled to. This is a clever and slightly dishonest way of getting even more money from the estate - yours! DO NOT DO IT. If they have your name, they have to turn it over to the probate attorney either way, so if you don't sign a percentage over to ARB, you get the entire amount you are entitled to. In summary, give them your personal information proving your relationship to the decedent, but DO NOT AGREE TO SIGN OVER A PERCENTAGE OF THE INHERITANCE TO ARB.
