About

Want to experience the haunted side of Charlotte? You have found the right tour! City Haunts LLC was founded by an experienced Paranormal Investigator and Author of the paranormal. Jamie Roush Pearce Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations wanted to bring a ghost tour to Charlotte to show guests the haunted side of this fair city. Charlotte Haunts Ghost Tours will take you to many of the most haunted places in the Queen City with two entirely different tours.

Established in 2013. When you think of Charlotte, most people think of the Carolina Panthers and Carowinds. But, how many people think of the gold mines and secret tunnels running under the city streets? Not very many. You also may think of Charlotte Motor Speedway and many of the local craft breweries. Many don't realize there is a historic and haunted side to the Queen City. Charlotte was settled in 1755 and incorporated in 1768. Just because it isn't as old as St. Augustine, Florida or other highly known haunted cities doesn't mean it isn't as haunted. Charlotte not only has a haunted past, but a twisted one at that.

My wife and I recently took this tour during a family trip to the Charlotte area

My wife and I recently took this tour during a family trip to the Charlotte area. My wife is a historian and skeptic, and I have been an avid paranormal fan and amateur ghost hunter since my teens. We met in front of the Hearst building, which by itself was an experience. Our guide was engaging and funny, and we visited a haunted funeral parlor turned Irish pub, as well as haunted theaters and houses. It was a solid hour of fun and history. After the tour, we returned to the bar and had a quick drink and chatted with the bartenders about the hauntings. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city!

This tour is a lot of walking, but our tour guide was awesome and kept us entertained the whole time! He was in character and even carried a walking stick and lantern which set the mood. This tour is a great way to hear the history of Charlotte and see important historical sites throughout the city. It's definitely not too scary, so good for a family as well.

This tour was amazing. We came from Colorado and my boyfriend surprised me with a tour. I love anything haunted so this was right up our alley. Arty was our tour guide and he was incredible. We really liked how much history came with the tour and it flew by! It was chilly so it was just us two and he made it so enjoyable. He was an awesome tour guide and we will definitely be bringing people back with us.

Our tour guide gave us history of the city as well as some interesting ghost stories. Our tour guide was informational and kept the small crowd listening to what he had to say. We stopped at several buildings, a haunted house, and even ended the tour at a cemetery. It was a neat way to explore Charlotte with my family.
