THIS IS THE WORST GROUP OF PEOPLE TO EVER WORK FOR ANY COMPANY. I was out of town and needed to go to the emergency room back in 2015- I have insurance through Medicaid and a zero deductible. Miami Valley hospital who hired these incompetent collectors, billed my insurance and didn't provide them with the information my insurance needed to process the bill. My insurance needed something called a rendering Medicaid number. My insurance specified that every medical professional is required to have one yet the hospital told me that whatever doctor saw me that day didn't have one out of state. Yet my insurance said they provided them with directions on how to retrieve this number. This hospital should of told me this when I was seen but instead they sent me a bill almost two years later!!! This is completely ridiculous. Just because the people working for billing are incompetent and lazy and they couldn't resolve it with my insurance it's now my problem. So now the hospital has their collectors on my back. One of their collectors Tessa, told me she wouldn't even call my insurance to try to resolve it. She told me it's part of their policy that she couldn't. Yet funny enough, her supuervisor whom I spoke to later on, told me they are actually allowed to call my insurance. Tessa didn't tell me I can dispute the bill she basically told me my only option was to just pay it. She was so rude and completely lazy. Instead of investigating the situation and calling both the hospital and my insurance to figure out what's going on she thought she can pressure me into paying her. Tessa didn't allow me to fully explain myself or take the time to try to help. She gave me an attitude and I'm so sick of this he said she said issue that has been going on for years. I did everything I could and tried to be proactive on my end yet these lazy people that just to the bare minimum and try to squeeze money out of innocent people get to walk around with no consequences. We are taking matters into our own hands and WE WILL PROVE OUR POINT.
