Don't let the fancy website fool you for "Elite Legal Services of NY".They are quick to respond to new business inquiries, however after that it takes 3 to 4 followups to get a response from anyone by phone or email. Although they accept jobs from out of state clients, they have no knowledge in regards to specific state serving requirements. This is all the company does, and a service in which they specialize in... how can you not quickly reference "serving requirements for TX"? After receiving a service affidavit back from Elite and filing with the courts, the court advised that their serving was "non-valid" as they did not follow proper procedure. When calling the owner back and explaining the situation, he requested that I pay him for the service again. When asking if this was the way he typically did business, the owner hung up the phone.Be careful with this company.

I have used them for over a decade and never really had the types of issues the other reviewers are claiming to have, From the beginning they have been prompt, filed when I needed filing, and have transitioned into the e-filing and electronic age with no difficulties from my end. The customer service has always been professional and on point, while the prices are reasonable.

Please avoid at all costs and get a good process server like United Parcel Service or Heaven Sent Legal Service. These people cannot open e-mail attachments and do not have the professionalism to know how to use a fax. I think that they are nuts. It is not their job to argue with a case, but to process serve it. Please learn how to open an attachment and learn how to simply do your jobs. They refuse to meet reasonable deadlines. I would not use them at all.

I called Elite in August and asked about serving the secretary of state. I was told it would take a few days. On September 1, I send them all the required documents. Here we are 27 days later and they still have not sent me the affidavit of service. I asked them to send me the original via certified mail and they asked me to send a check for $5 to do so. I did. I also asked them to email it to me so I have something in my hands. They asked for $10 just to email it. I called a weeks later to find out the certified number so I could track it because I still did not receive it. I received different versions of what happened from different people. No one knew where the original was. No one knew the certified number. They told me they were trying to get a new copy. Although I need the original. The owner hung up on me. I called back and he told me that I was a pain in the ass and not to call back again. Terrible experience. I will never use them again.

Are you kidding me? This guy Sam hired me to serve a paper in June 2010 in Atlanta, GA. It is now December and he has bounced two checks to my company Phoenix Legal, Inc.!!! I just tried to call him and he cussed me out and hung up! I have been in the Process Serving and Investigative business for 14 years and I have never had someone treat me like dirt as this man did. Do not trust this man with your legal documents!! BEWARE!!
