I only keep a handful of books at my desk for research. One of them is "Due Diligence for the Financial Professional" by L. Burke Files. I find myself referring to it over and over, especially the sections on Background Investigations, which are rich with insights and anecdotes that answer the question, "Why." Burke's section on "credentials" helped a close friend of mine avoid a big financial mistake with the wrong person--and I'll leave it at that. Burke Files and his teams are great financial investigators. Our law firm is almost 2000 miles away but he is our exclusive provider of financial due diligence and investigations. Their reports are easy to understand, thorough and always delivered within budge and on-time. There are many divorce and personal investigators in the marketplace but investigators do what FEE does and no one who does so as well. All I can say is...if you want it done RIGHT the 1st time...call Burke Files @ FEE Inc ! I made the common mistake of hiring a company to do a background check and track down a person without doing my research first. They overcharged me and didn't deliver in the timeframe as promised. I ended up firing them and calling Burke. He was so professional and accommodating. Mr. Files was able to find a man we had searched for two years in the US in Zambia in two weeks.
