Total waste of money. I was charged a total of $3465 for essentially someone to go to the house of my ex-wife and take a few photos of the house the children playing outside and her vehicle parked in the driveway. The hourly rate Was $100 an hour and in my opinion should have been $10 an hour for the services provided. I hired the private investigator in the hopes that it could help me in my custody case, however, all that happened was me paying more for the investigator than for my actual lawyer fees. The investigator would routinely contact me with information. I already knew and seemed focused on irrelevant details regarding the garage door being open on my ex-wife's house. He did send some photos to my attorney as I asked, and all of which were irrelevant. To say that the enormous bill was unjustified would be a huge understatement. I would find someone with more experience and do some background research on their methods and results If I ever have to use an investigator in the future. This entire process was extremely frustrating. A complete waste of money and time.
