Steve was instrumental in petitioning the Colorado Supreme Court, Civil Rules Committee, to change Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure Rule 4 and was asked by the Committee Chair to sit on the Sub-Committee to draft the wording for the changes recently adopted. THE BEST! I'd give them more stars if I could. I admittedly know nothing about the legal industry and found myself needing their services. They already had good reviews uncovered when researching, so I reached out through their site. What a God send! I had this company attempt to serve a subpoena for documents to a business. They sent me an email invoice attachment on May 21, 2018 for $80.00. I received an email today May 24, 2018, only 3 days after the invoice demanding payment and threatening collections. Also claiming to have left 4 voicemails. 4 voicemails in 3 days, really? They never provided any secure source to pay and expected me to just call them up with my credit card number. ( I do not give my credit card info over the phone as I had my credit card number stolen and used for purchases in the past) I was taken back by this demanding email. As I only received the invoice 3 days ago and they never provided a payment link to make a payment. Instead of providing a link to secure payment method, which I was expecting as most professional businesses do. I get an email like this instead. I responded to their email and to their claims of 4 voicemails, as well as addressed not providing a secure payment method. They just today gave me the info to make a PayPal payment to. Of course they requested an additional $4 for the payment through PayPal. Just to add. The Business being served had moved, therefore service was not completed. I had this happen once before and the process server was nice enough not to charge me. But here they are charging me extra for a PayPal payment because of their lack of patience for me to send the payment. They really shouldn't have charged me more because of their unreasonable time to allow payment or send a check. But it doesn't sound like providing superior customer service is their thing. I would never recommend this company for their unprofessional and unreasonable expectations for adequate time for payment without providing secure methods to pay first.

I cannot recommend Steve. He took my social security number. Said that he would call. Didn't call. Finally contacted me and said that he wouldn't do the work for me. I asked him for a letter stating that he wouldn't do anything malevolent or fraudulent with my information since we wouldn't be working together. He refused. Sketchy. Thanks for all of the anxiety and worry Steve.

I cannot speak for anyone but myself but I personally found my experience with this firm to be highly unprofessional. They took my payment then blew me off for weeks even though I kept requesting for status updates. When I was finally at the end of the period in which I could serve the defendant they tried to charge me hundreds of dollars for a skip trace on essentially the last day. When I protested the fact that they hadn't actually done what was requested they countered my concerns with a snarky response about filling out an affidavit for an extension of time but refused to give me said affidavit until I pay them this absorbent amount for what appears was merely an Internet search. My issue was time sensitive and they were anything but helpful.

At first I was impressed. I was referred from another process server for a difficult service. I was told on the phone they are 5 star service, they get the job done. I was on the fence about the lawsuit to begin with, but after talking to Steve I was confident he would get the people I needed served. So I paid the $150 to get service under way. I was told they would only have to go to surveillance if they could not get the individuals, but usually it doesn't get that far, per Steve. At the time, my defendants were unaware that I had even started a lawsuit, so I had them still scheduling with me and coming to my home. Steve was unavailable when these people were sitting outside my home so he was going to 'send a guy'. All that fell through, so multiple easy service opportunities were missed. Then he missed the initial service deadline. He had 'given it to a guy that got sick, etc. etc.' So I had to take another day out of my life to redo and re-file all of my court documents, and extend the entire case another month. At this point my defendant was no longer communicating with me, so I had to pay for surveillance. So a $150 service, ended up $455. He finally completed service 6 weeks after I initially got him the paperwork, on a Fri. afternoon when the second service deadline was the following Monday. After service was finally complete, 6 weeks later, my paperwork was incorrect- and I had to e-mail the office and have that fixed. Had I shown up to court with what they had given me, I could have had my lawsuit dismissed. Hind sight - my initial lawsuit was aggravating, plus the 6 weeks waiting on them to be served, having to redo my lawsuit paperwork per M-D Service's error, with $455 price tag - it just got worse. Not worth it. Seemed like they dragged their feet when they could have had these people hand delivered at a location/ time, which in turn cost me a lot more money.

Called this company on a Sunday to simply leave a message while they were marked as closed on their Yelp page. They picked up and talked me through my legal rights and were very helpful and fatherly in the way they helped me with which direction I should go. I am so grateful and it means a lot to me to reach out to a perfect stranger who went above and beyond on their day off to show me what steps to take and how to prevent this situation from happening again. I can't thank them enough. Should I need help any other time, this will definitely be who I call. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
