Mind Your Business, Inc., a small woman-owned business, was founded in 1996 and provides pre-employment screening and investigation services for employment, retention, promotion, reassignment, appointment, and EEO purposes. Additionally, MYB conducts workshops for employers around the country and custom tailors security solutions specifically for each client. In 2009, MYB expanded its scope of service offerings to include DOT Certified Drug and Alcohol Testing as well as EEO services for the federal sector. These services include Counseling, Mediation and Investigation services. Established in 1996. Founder and author Karen Caruso started Mind Your Business from the purest strains of the American Dream: From her own basement, and with very little money. Her intent initially was simply to screen a nanny who would care for her own children. Finding it tantamount to impossible to hire a company that offered such employee screening services to private individuals, she started her own.
