i left this same review in Google as well - I am increasingly concerned that I may have been defrauded of close to $1,000 at this point. Matthew was very responsive during the first few days of our engagement; however, communication quickly became infrequent and has now stopped entirely. I have sent numerous text messages, left voicemails, and sent emails, but have received no response. Additionally, the work that was supposedly completed has not been verified or posted in the client portal, and there is currently no documentation or evidence to substantiate that any progress has been made.

I was referred to Matt via another Private Investigator that I had used a few years ago, because he was swamped when I reached out to him..., He thought Matt would be able to do a good job, so I called Matt and agreed to pay his $1500.00 retainer fee back in June. My request was to get a picture and gather more information for two people on our case tracker, I needed them interviewed in hopes of gathering more names of people that may have worked with my family member in the 1970's. I provided Matt with several interviews that my other investigator performed with other employees, neighbors and friends, involved in the case that he had recorded for me, just to give Matt an idea as to what had worked previously. I had also used an online service that had most of the information needed to locate them, and to give him a proximity as to where they might be, I wanted to help expedite the task. Unfortunately I did not get much for my money. They built a case file on MS Recoveries website, with two short blurbs as to their attempts to interview one of them, one in June and one in July. The rest of the information on the page was provided by me. Huge disappointment! Do not pay in advance such a huge retainer fee... pay only half until the job has been done at least partially.. There seems to be no incentive to finish that task.
