Melyssa Seymour runs a company called new beginnings different endings. its supposed to be a company that advocates for people who are incarcerated and their families. My ex boyfriend had been arrested in october and melyssa contacted me saying she could help with a lawyer, bail and helping when he is released. Her fee is 2500 dollars, i told her that i didnt have that much all i had was 1900 so she said she would accept that and waive the rest. She had me sign a contract and the contract stated that a full refund would be given within 3 business days if i wasnt satisfied. During the course of 3 Melyssa made it seem like she was doing alot but she wasnt, she never found him a lawyer. she told me she hired him a lawyer but he was charging her 75,000 for his case so she would need the rest of the 600 dollars paid even though she said she waived it so i sent her the money via cash app. she said the lawyer told her that he would be able to get all the charges dropped and that he would be out within the week. I spoke with the lawyer she "hired" and found out that he never said any of that and that he told her that it would be difficult to get any of it dropped. She said she sent him the check for 75,000 dollars yet the check never made it to him. the Lawyer also told me to be very weary about her because she is a fast talker and nothing she is saying or doing makes any sense and he was worried i was being scammed. In december i broke up with my boyfriend and i let Melyssa know that i broke up with him but she could still continue to contact me to get messages between the both of them. she then told me that if i broke up with him then she no longer wanted to work with him anymore and told me she was sorry for our break up and wanted to help me. she asked for the information to my cars financial account and "paid" off my car but the payment was kicked back and didnt go through she did this 1more times and then said she sent them a check. i told her my cars financial institution stated they never recieved a check and she called me later that day and said they verified that they indeed recieved it. after going back and forth for quite a while i finally left a poor review on her fb page business site, after i did this she changed the sire to where no one could see the review or leave anymore reviews. then she called me apologizing profusely saying how sorry she was and how she wanted to make it right. she then called my cars financial institution while i was on a three way with them and "paid" my car off again, 4 days later the payment kicked back saying no such account existed, by then my car payment was 7 days late. i texted her numerous times and messaged her on fb and she is no longer returning my messages or phone calls. i told her never once did i ask her to pay off my car all i wanted back was the 2500 that was stated on the contract. she has not refunded me any money and will not reply back. she is a scam artist. i found out recently yesterday after reading a review on the bbb that she used to go by Melyssa Phillips, Melyssa Fiegenschue and Melyssa Floodline and all of these names have record for fraud. Do not give this company any of your money!!!
