Officers who worked downtown & were transferred to a new company that took over their account (because the client had a laundry list of complaints against he company) has to return their uniforms and were suppose to be reimbursed. I (from the new company) drove about 15 of those officers to Norred's office. They locked their doors, cut off their lights, you hear shushing. The officers tried calling the front desk. You hear the phone ringing inside and someone saying "I'm not answering that!" This company completely bailed on those officers... with the audacity to pay them $9/hour. We paid them $13/hr. Norred & Associates is a company that is competitive, diligent, and employee driven. Norred made it possible for me to attend school and work. The HR department is compassionate and dedicated to the employees, and willing to be a listening ear in a time of need. Payroll is competent, accurate, and timely. My brother is new to the city of Atlanta and I immediately referred him to the Norred family. ATLANTA, GA

Terriable!!! The company cares more about the Clients than the employee's. Josh our supervisor got us a guard house the size of a telephone booth for 24 hours. We told him we needed a bigger one. He told us the Clients didn't want to spend the money for a bigger one he said to us don't bother me. Plus he had us working next to a hazardous waste drum. And Norred did nothing about it. He said I can always get Security guards. Norred should of been reported to OSHA and fined heavy. Ed Jones thank God ex Norred Employee!!!

I've worked with a few larger security firms in a Management position, and have both a well established record of being Professional and on top of the game handling upto 40+ sites and decorated Law Enforcement experience as well as SaR history.. after a few years for some odd reason I missed security work.. honestly the commercial security Industry in general is very arcane in matters of supervisors.. I have worked along some very unprofessional people that get rewarded well... I did an interview at one of their Non Georgia sites, I was met by a guy with long hair in jeans and a ratty t shirt.... Strike 1.. then I was told that I would be EXPECTED to use MY Vehicle for THEIR job with No compensation "Ohh You don't use that much gas" is how it was put too me..... Now these poor sods don't realize the THOUSANDS of dollars these bottom feeding companies save at an Employees expense, they have 0 Insurance 0 Fuel 0 Maintenance issues and that is why they got the Contract.. Then I was hit with it only pays 8 an hour.... SO after you figure in your gas/maintenance/wear and tear on your vehicle... your making just over 5bills an hour! And I doubt they will cowboy up when your car breaks down and help with the repairs... and it is a clear and solid indicator that a company does not value the work force or the individual.. indicating you will deal with more issues of bosses being demanding/ignorant to the point you feel they think they own you......or they'll fire you... Unless your in dire need of a job... it is best to steer clear of companies like this.. No matter what your income level is

Unprofessional. Will make you stay for other shifts no matter what due to the you leave post and you are fired. Worked 2 20+ hour shifts due to above rule and many doubles. To relieve self you had to close gates, place sign up, lock both doors. Then you choose to run up the hill to main building or use vehicle. Or the ever lovely relieving in bushes because they were to cheap to get a port a potty. Pay sucked. I complained a lot and was threatened by a fellow worker who was allowed to keep his job. He quit when I was unable to get to work in a hurricane. He left post and guess who was begged to go in. Me. I even had the CEO call me to fill a shift. The kicker was after I left I wanted to just work weekends which was bearable to a certain extent. I was told no because of performance issues. I never received a write up or told about it. I guess performance is key for you complained too much about our inept manager. For all the hours I covered and performance was an issue is stupid. PLEASE DO NOT GET A JOB WITH NORRED OR IF YOU DO MAKE IT A SHORT ONE THEY WILL USE YOU.

Very unprofessional company, surprised they are sill in business. Have people working as management who have no real training, they don't know how to talk to people or treat people. Prior to my hire I was told ill be making 9.00 hourly, after receiving my first check it was for 8.00 hourly. After I brought it to the attention of my supervisor he informed me that I was receiving the correct salary, I explained to him that I was informed by the person who hired me I will be making 9, His only reply was ( she lied to you) I will not recommend anyone to work for this company. I rather clean up dog sh... then work for Norred.
