My staff and I used Palomar Investigative Group and Gordon's services for 24 years when I was the Sr. Vice President and Chief Security Officer for Sony Electronics. They worked dozens of cases for us involving a myriad of issues, ie., background investigations, drugs, financial fraud, merger and acquisition due diligence, etc. In all instances their work was thorough, accurate, and timely. More often than not, they uncovered information previously unknown to us and/or information that made a very positive difference in the resolution of our case(s). Their staff is professional and well educated in the areas of investigations, interviewing, and online research. I highly recommend Gordon and his company, and have referred them to professional colleagues around the country who need investigative service in the Southern California area.

My wife and I, as well as several friends were defrauded in a fake investment scam and were referred to Gordon Schmidt and Palomar Investigative Group. Gordon and his team put together the information and delivered the highly complex case to the Carlsbad Police Department and San Diego County District Attorney. Their excellent work resulted in the arrest and conviction of a man who had cheated more than 40 people in San Diego County via fake investment schemes over a period of more than a decade for well over one million dollars. Without Gordon Schmidt and his team at Palomar Investigative Group, we could not have assembled the case which allowed Carlsbad PD to move forward and enable the District Attorney to gain conviction on more than 35 felony counts. Our experience with Gordon and his team was completely positive. We found the team to be diligent, extremely hard-working exceptional professionals throughout the entire 18 month process. I highly recommend Palomar Investigative Group, we are thankful for their understanding and expertise.

I live in San Diego and needed to collect on a debt owed by an acquaintance, over $6600. Unfortunately, this individual lived on the east coast. In order for me to obtain an attorney, I needed to find out what state this individual lived in. Through Facebook, I had a pretty good idea he lived in West Virginia. I contacted Palomar Inv. Grp. and the owner, Gordon Schmidt, worked on my case. My fee was $369. Every time Gordon emailed me, he asked me to remind him what my case was about. I realize he is very busy. He made that abundantly clear in his communications. He also stated that he would only share information with my attorney. Unfortunately, I could not obtain an attorney until I was sure of which state this individual lived in. Mr. Schmidt knew this very well, however we went round and round about this for a few weeks. Mr. Schmidt finally verbally "shared" the location in which his sources said this individual lived in. He was wrong. Through my own research on Facebook and other social media,I was able to confirm Mr. Schmidt's information was incorrect. I obtained an attorney in the correct state, sued and was awarded the full amount, damages and interest over 3 years. I wish PIG took their cases more seriously, as they actually mean a great deal to the client. If PIG felt my case was too small, they should have stated so, instead of having me waste $369 dollars on highly unreliable sources and services. I would have gladly paid additional for more accurate and effective information. If you have to obtain a Private Investigator, I strongly suggest finding one other than Palomar Investigative Group.
