Terry Myer and Amelia Myer at Columbus Detective Agency turned one of the most stressful times in our lives into a nightmare. We were quoted $150 -- flat. No mention of additional charges. No contract. No terms. We paid immediately, trusting their word and assuming everything was covered. But once the job was done and they knew we couldn't go elsewhere without jeopardizing a sensitive legal case, they hit us with hundreds more in hidden fees, including $100 for a notary that typically costs $10-$15. We told them from the start that we were new to this process and needed help -- they knew that. And instead of guiding us, they took full advantage. If there were going to be more charges, they should've been disclosed up front -- not sprung on us after the fact when they were holding important court documents we needed to move forward. This didn't feel like professional service. It felt like a complete scam -- and no one should have to go through what we did just to get basic legal paperwork handled. If you're in a vulnerable legal situation, stay far away from this agency. You deserve honesty and transparency -- not deception, manipulation, and hidden fees.

I recently hired the Columbus Detective Agency (CDA), led by Detective Terry Myer and associates, for an urgent, time-sensitive, complicated, and important job. I picked CDA because Detective Myer is a nationally-renown leader in his field and has many years of successful cases under his belt. As expected, in my case CDA brought to the task a wide range of strategies, tactics, and technologies in order to cover all aspects of the job and to make certain that nothing went wrong. For example, CDA had a solution for every possible exigency, which was clearly and carefully explained to me in advance. Since this was a very important case, I was willing to pay extra for all of the bells and whistles. However, everything was free of charge except for the basic service. Even though several readjustments had to be made during the job due to unforeseen circumstances, CDA made these readjustments without complaint and without charging me extra. Needless to say, the job was completed successfully on time and on the first attempt. Also, CDA kept in close contact with me during the entire operation, gave me frequent updates, and (as previously stated) was nimble enough to make split-second readjustments when things did not go as planned or expected. As a result, I will use CDA every time I need a detective agency, and anyone desiring the very best detective agency at a reasonable price should do so, too. -- Jonathan
