Established in 1982. Adam Campbell, Jr. is the owner of Heritage Investigations, LLC. While studying Criminal Justice at the University Of Illinois at Chicago in 1978 he found himself unemployed and in need a part time job. His service with the United States Marine Corp qualified him on his DD214 (discharge papers) as a "Detective" in civilian life. As he looks back at that today, he laughs, but his major in college and that DD214 got him a job at Lloyds Detective Agency, working for Lee Buslik. Two years and out of G.I. Bill and State of Illinois benefits. He sat for the state licensing exam and upon passing gave Lee his one year notice. Lee kept him on for that year and on June 2, 1982 he opened his office on LaSalle Street. The rest, as they say, is history. After 46 years in the Private Detective business you will still find Adam out in the field conducting surveillances or investigations on behalf of clients. It is said that if you love your job you never work a day in your life.
