I needed a process server to serve an order of protection. They charged me $75 which seemed like the going rate around the Phoenix valley, so I was fine there. They are VERY quick to respond to emails (I worked with Danny), however because of the sensitivity of needing the order of protection served and since it was 'official' until the other person was served, I kept it very quiet so that the other person didn't know or get word of being served. I called on a Friday afternoon, was told to scan and email the paperwork to them by Saturday and they would serve on Monday. Well they did attempt to serve on Monday, but apparently the person was not at work at the time they arrived. I suddenly got a very angry email from the person attempting to be served that it was now known the person was getting served. I emailed ABC asking if they were successful in serving since the person knew of the serving, and was told the person was not at work at the time and they would attempt again on Wednesday. I asked how this person knows they are being served and was told 'you know more than we do, we would not have disclosed our position or job unless we were confident the person was there.' Well like I said, I TOLD NO ONE else but this company about the paperwork until the person was served, so obviously someone messed up. Fortunately the person did get served on the Wednesday. Just worried when they are dealing with order of protections, that involve the safety of someone's life, and isn't very careful about it. Honestly, should I need to hire another process server, I will probably not use this company and will try to find another company that someone I know has used and had good success with.
