About

Established in 2001. Wheels of Justice is a San Francisco based Litigation Support Service started in 2001 by a merger between United Process Servers and Wheels. We decided to unite our years of experience to create what we envisioned to be the ideal Legal Services Company. Both companies having worked in the industry for many years, we had a fairly good idea of the ideal company. With an emphasis on an experienced and knowledgeable staff, efficient service and the desire to do a good job, the results have been fantastic. This is a company that sees itself as an integral part of the legal community. We live here, we work here and this is much more than just a job to us.

I'm extremely disappointed with Mahesh and his team at Wheels of Justice. This should have been a straightforward service, but it was mishandled. A family member opened the door and acknowledged the subject was not home at the time -- substitute service should have been completed right then. Instead of doing their job, the server just left without completing service. Now we're stuck having to attempt service all over again, and to make matters worse, the subject has likely been tipped off, creating unnecessary delay and cost. Would not recommend

Mahesh and his team at Wheels of Justice went out of their way to get my documents, including a required building plan sheet, recorded in LA County. Due to my lack of knowledge and LA County's outdated equipment, WOJ spent a lot of time and effort to instruct me on how to alter my documents for submission. They even modified the documents to meet the recording requirements when they were rejected by the recording clerk. Additionally, whether by phone or email, they were a pleasure to work with.

I hired Wheels of Justice for a time-sensitive legal matter involving service of process on two separate legal parties -- an individual and a business entity. Before they even attempted service, I emailed them detailed instructions and specifically asked them to confirm that they understood the legal requirements for serving both entities correctly. Instead of confirming or asking questions, they responded with a dismissive tone and wrote: "This is why attorney services don't work with pro pers." I found this highly disrespectful and discriminatory toward people who represent themselves in court. A few days later, they did exactly what I warned them not to do -- they attempted to shortcut proper service by preparing a single proof of service, which would not hold up in court under California law. I immediately stopped them from filing anything with the court, since their proof of service was procedurally defective. I hired a different licensed server who completed the job correctly. I made multiple good-faith efforts to resolve the matter and even offered to pay extra to have it corrected properly. They refused. Instead, I received a string of defensive, unprofessional emails -- including some late at night, even after I had informed them that I suffer from PTSD and requested no further direct contact. After I disputed the charge with my credit card company, they responded by canceling my order and informing me they might file a small claims case against me if the dispute succeeded. This came across as retaliatory and unprofessional, especially after I had tried repeatedly to resolve the issue civilly and quietly. I have retained all emails, service records, and communications. If you are self-represented, dealing with sensitive legal matters, or require professional standards, I strongly advise choosing a different provider. In my experience, this company failed to follow proper procedure, ignored clear instructions, and responded with escalation instead of accountability. -- M. Anconina

I just joined there platform, gave my CC information and proceeded to file a small claims. The Service froze and asked for a file number before I even had one. I called the customer service number 415-546-6000. It led to an outgoing message asking me to leave a message, and then disconnected automatically. I followed up with an email to no avail and then another phone call which now just doesn't go through. Obviously this company is defunct and my call is being blocked. LASC needs to take this E-Service company off of its list of providers. Owner Mahesh called me back after this review and was Very Helpful in explaining they are a service provider ONLY. Not a legal forms website. I wish this was more clear in the beginning when I called numerous times, not that LASC was any more helpful. Adding two stars now for not completely ignoring me... hoping to add more after I use their platform to file.

Contacting Wheels of Justice was like trying to communicate through a fog. Conversations were inconsistent, and Mahesh Bhagat dropped off the map without a word. Not the kind of reliability you'd expect from a service agency. Disappointing.

Rate was decent. Job was simple and easy. But IMHO they wasted attempts at the wrong time of day. They never bothered to tell me they made a final attempt which wasted another 5 days, forcing me to postpone a trial date

Totally last minute on a Friday evening, Mahesh helped me get something urgently e-filed with the court. What a great guy, great service. Polite, friendly, helpful, understanding of those of us who don't understand legalese, especially under time pressure. I highly recommend them.

Someone from this weird company just called me today at 3:39pm and lied to me that he is calling from SF mailing facility. He said one of my mail has wrong address and asked my correct address. I wasn't thinking thoughtfully and I accidentally gave him my correct address. When I keep asking him the details about the package, he finally started acting like he cannot hear me at all on the phone. I was having full signal and I was hearing him so clearly. I called him back many times but he were keep saying that he cannot hear me well and I have bad signal. I was hearing him so clearly. And obviously he is using a phone with line.. I dont know. They are very strange. Be careful. They are not truthful.

I am an attorney in Napa with clients throughout the state. It rarely makes sense for me to travel to other cities to do legal work, which is why I rely on companies like Wheels of Justice to do a lot of the "heavy lifting" to help me get deals done. I have used them 3 or 4 times over the years, and each time they are cost effective, detail oriented, and thorough. Each time I call, they answer the phone and are beyond diligent. There was one time they had difficulty with a serve, but that was not their fault; the defendant was a criminal and was purposefully avoiding service. Thank you Wheels of Justice for always being there for our firm and our clients.

Don't trust this company to help you serve anyone. I provided them with detailed info. regarding a person we wanted served for small claims court. I have verified he lives at the address stated, however the lease may be under another name. Scott Simons was of no help whatsoever. The court date was 1 week away and no one from Wheels of Justice would get back with me, after multiple emails, to confirm the defendant had been served. When I called to follow up, Scott told me he didn't have all the paperwork he needed! It was sent to him 2 months ago and he is just now telling me this?? He also does have all the paperwork needed because it was sent in the mail and via email. If you need someone served, you are better off doing it yourself than hiring Wheels of Justice.
