After founding the Atlantis Company, a major security management services firm headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, Brian K Whitaker purchased Corporate Information Services and another firm also engaged in security background information. He merged these two firms to form SearchFirst Information Services, doubling their capacity, and took the new firm national.
