Star Protection Agency offers a complete and comprehensive program in the area of Investigative Services. We provide services in all areas of criminal and civil matters. Our investigators are former law enforcement personnel with extensive backgrounds in the investigation of homicides, undetermined deaths, sex crimes, arson, explosives, workplace violence and sexual harassment. We also assist with and conduct surveillance, install electronic security equipment, gather and collate evidence in the areas of embezzlement, fraud and drug abuse. Our professional teams have and maintain contacts throughout the United States. We exercise discretion and confidentiality in all cases. Our investigators are experienced in testifying in court proceedings, hearings and depositions. All investigative work is supported with reports, tape recordings, video photographs and/or diagrams. Star’s clients include government agencies, attorneys, private individuals and other businesses.

I could write a book as to why this company is a joke. And yes Alan is NOT above taking a deal on a car. He would understand the meaning of that. Lol

This company is a liability to some one who will use their service. Their officer's are unprofessional and have criminally harassed me and violated my rights to video taping in one of the malls that they are providing services for . You would be better off using the services of South West Security, who has their officers trained by Hawaii's finest retired police officers who are well aware of Hawaii's law enforcement based on Fairness, Respect and Integrity!

Rated at ZERO stars.... due to... Under paid employees without experience. Payroll is shady and often paid incorrectly. Unprofessional biased standards. An operation based on industry retirees whose only interest is in making a "buck". So essentially their contracts reflect that...poor site conditions without breaks & restrooms, and poor communication between guards as majority of their employees are Micronesians and other minority groups. Lastly, If you resign and need Human Resources or an office manager to validate your history and performance ...do not hold your breath! They will NOT respond to numerous phone calls, emails, or texts.

This company has not sense of customer service. Tried to get information to make a complaint the receptionist that answered the phone was rude and obnoxious. Then tried to speak with a manager she hung up on me. Then I kept calling back and asked for the manager and she hung up on me again. I kept calling back and finally spoke with Allen the "part owner" and he didn't seem to care that his employee was rude. The story is actually longer than this but this shortened version is just a "buyer beware".

The staff are very attentive and alert at the locations that they are assigned to. They are very friendly to the public and helpful whenever possible. Their staff looks like they enjoy what they are doing. Their security does events that are well known such as the Sony Open coming up.

Their security officers need more training. I shop at Safeway Beretania on a regular basis and have always parked my moped in the same spot. Recently I was approached and told I wasn't allowed to park where I had been parking (for over 2 years!). I was directed to a spot where I could park however the next time I went to park there I was told I had to park somewhere else. From this time forward every time I go back I am told to park in a different spot then before. Today I went and I had pulled on the side to reply quickly to a text my friend had sent me asking if I could pick something up for them at the store. My engine was still running when a male security guard came walking very fast towards me and yelled at me about where I was "parked". I said I'm not parking I'm going to move and I pointed to where three other motorcycles were parked on the side. He said I wasn't allowed to park there either and I said "Well that's where I parked the last time how come I can't park there this time? How come it's different every time I come here?" The security guard then proceeded to raise his voice saying he's going to call the police if I don't leave the parking lot. I asked "Why? I haven't done anything wrong. I just want to know where I can park." I stayed calm the entire time and NEVER raised my voice. I ended up leaving because shopping there wasn't worth it. I'm not sure if I will ever come to this Safeway location ever again, and it's all because of the unprofessional acts of the security guards.

I think 1 star is a gift. I had an appointment at there old location for fingerprinting services for certification for a Government job. They were very disorganized and passed me from one employee to another. Finally 45 minutes after my appointment time. Someone came and took my prints. They were friendly and prompt only after I told them what agency I was going to work for. Now they have the contract at my workplace. I felt allot safer with the prior company. Its hit or miss they have professional looking guards or guys that look like a sack of potatoes. They drive there Security Vehicle around with little regard for safety or speed limit. The vehicle looks abused. Almost every evening I come into work there gate guard is on some type of electronic device: smartphone, tablet, or laptop. On several occasions I have had to honk and get the attention of and/or wake up the guard. This is the guy whom is supposed to be checking and verifying my ID upon entry. Lastly, there was a vehicle hit in the employee parking area. HPD arrived before there guard did. When there guard finally arrived no notes or report generated and the guard barely spoke English.
