I hired Anna to find a long-lost friend from grad school (1974) I'd not heard a word from since 1987. I'd searched the net for ten years trying to find out something, but he was totally "off the grid." It took several months, but Anna found out that my friend had died in 2001 and was buried in Gainsville, FL. She could have stopped there, but she went above and beyond by finding my friend's sister (whom I didn't even know he had.) She contacted the sister and learned that the sister would be happy to speak with me. I called the sister and we spoke for two hours. It was wonderful to finally get the closure that had eluded me for so long. If you have PI work, call Anna. Done and done.

Anna is a TRUE gem! When you hire a private investigator, you think about justice, fair play, due process and someone who is authoritative. But Anna kicks ass at the integrity, empathy and honesty of the your situation. Because Face it. If it comes to you needing a private investigator, it's taken you on something of an extremely emotional ride to get there! She honors that, she honors you and she's down to Make. It. Happen. And oh, she will! We got into business within the first minute of the call. By the way- she came up first as recommended despite a different county and called me on same day. She's AMAZING!!! Go with Anna. My family are more than grateful and happy we found her!!

My experience with Anna Stowe Investigations was amazing from beginning to completion of the task I hired her for. Anna is extremely responsive and thorough. All matters where one would need to hire a private investigator are urgent to us, and Anna understands that. From our first phone call she made me feel as though my concerns were a top priority to her. Private Investigators cannot always move around their schedules to accommodate our cases so that they can investigate them so quickly, but in my situation she was able to rush what I needed and was successful within hours of getting me the answers I sought. Anna is the best private investigator that I have hired, and I've hired a few. There is no one else I will work with now in the greater Sacramento region. In addition to her top notch investigative work, prompt communication and results, and fair prices--she is a very personable and friendly investigator. Sometimes small details in a situation matter, and she takes the time to listen and communicate ideas back and forth to her clients.

This has been an incredible journey and a very long overdue review. Anna was and still is caring, empathetic and through it all professional. after a horrible experience in my life that lasted 3 years of endless nightmare i cant comenton it. but i will say this.after 3 years of pain and unnimaginable lies cheat deceit verbal and all abusesof all kind i decided to investigate deeply this person.anna worked on it 2 weeks and did not gave me speculations but real facts and proof beyond any doubt.she was tough polite but to the point.i have now some closurein my life when darkness and unbearable lies was in me for 3 years. i had suspicions for 3 years but now because of anna there is no more doubt or speculation i would highly recommend anna stowe to anyone to find the truth and nothing but the truth gerard nakache because of darkness the light is now on .

(0 stars) I hired Anna to do surveillance. She made me sign a non-refundable contract and pay a $3,000 retainer up front before any services were done. Before I paid her, she seemed empathetic to my situation as a young single mother going through a divorce. But her attitude completely changed once the process started. She was extremely rude, unprofessional and didn't uphold her end of the contract. It was very stressful working with her. In the contract it says she has to get approval before doing any surveillance task, however she kept going against this several times and did surveillance during the day without my knowledge and when I hired her specifically for night surveillance. Also, the covert camera she was supposed to place was set up in full view on a Saturday morning for all neighbors to see. Once we were into the process, she condescendingly told me not to ask her anymore questions about the services she was providing and said "You have to stop." (See photo) She wouldn't even let me clarify what I prepaid her for. At this point, I became leery of her services and she was doing more harm to my surveillance issue than good. After completing 6 out of 30 hours I paid her for, I requested she discontinue her services and give me a refund for the 24 hours she had not completed. She only gave me a 20% refund back, which I had to fight tooth and nail for. Out of the 6 hours that she did, I didn't receive any reports. She also charged me for a background check and "social media search" she told me would be free with my "package deal" that she clearly didn't even do providing NO proof or reports. She charged me $76 for a courtesy phone call to find out if I wanted her services. She never informed me that she'd charge for any phone calls, let alone before I hired her. She even hung up on me for no justifiable reason. I was shocked by such poor customer service. I would strongly suggest going with a different investigator.

I hired her to find a physical person. She came back with addresses twice that I later found out through emails with her that all she did was an online search through a law enforcement credit site. I have since found way more than she was able to find, addresses, financial info, emails and more. The addresses she gave me two seperate times, one was a PO BOX (useless), were not helpful and wasted money with my legal team, something I literally cannot afford. I asked for a refund and she then told me I could hire her for $95 an hour to knock on doors or stake out the addresses. I told her that I had already staked out the addresses she gave me and found them all to be useless. I thought a PI would have methods and tactics far superior to mine but that was not the case with Anna Stowe.
