Founded in 1985, we have been providing our dependable services for more than 35 years. The Agency Inc. offers a large variety of services to assist you in court record and criminal investigation searches, searching public records from any of the 50 states, and asset searches. Established in 1985. The owner began in the PI biz October 27th, 1979 in Los Angeles, California. Hung out his first shingle April 1985. Summer of 1995 obtained his license in Washington, DC and the subsequent year, 1996 obtained a Maryland license. The corporate office relocated to Fredericksburg, Virginia in 2003 and was granted by The Department of Criminal Justice a license to operate in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Agency, is incorporated in Maryland and is registered in Virginia as The Agency Private Detectives as of early 2004. The company now boasts nearly 29 field operatives, covering from Baltimore, MD to Richmond, Virginia and Newport News, Williamsburg, VA and Virginia Beach, VA.

Even though we were on opposite ends of the U.S., they were very responsive and the owner really helped me out and took the time to talk me off the ledge. Called the Owner John Lopes and he gave me the best advice ever on how to find a bum tenant I used to have that was trying to get out of going to court. John gave me my options, told me how much it would costs, and then he suggested that instead of taking my money to take his advice on how to find her. I was very apprehensive, being that this was my first experience utilizing a private investigator service. However, John explained what services his agency would provide for the price I could afford. John, came up with a game plan as well as explained to me how he would compile evidence for my case. As the investigation was underway, John kept me abreast of what his team was doing and even had a tracking device installed on the subject's car in order for me to view the locations. Overall, I was satisfied with the results and the response time whenever I contacted him about the surveillance.
