Susan has been in the Private Investigations, Security and Public Safety industry for over 25 years. She started out as a Retail Loss Prevention Investigator for several major retailers investigating internal/external theft, credit card fraud and customer/employee accidents and injuries. She then become a Level 2 Non-Commissioned Security Officer and Private Investigator for the Wackenhut Corporation where she investigated copyright infringement cases, interstate infidelity cases and conducted background checks for applicants and trades needing clearance to work at nuclear power plants. After that, she joined the Houston Police Department as an Account Clerk. She left the police department to start a family and became a Mystery Shopper. After her children grew, she dove back into the security and investigations industry and learned how to run a security company. She felt the Lord guiding her to open her own investigations company. She offers Chaplain and Notary services as well.

Established in 2017. Gulf Coast Investigative Services, Home of The Praying PI, was founded in 2017. After working a Runaway Case that involved a teenage girl and distraught mother, and seeing a lack of compassion in the investigations industry, I felt the Lord leading me to open my own investigations firm. An investigations company where people knew I was praying for them, their situation and their case. I wanted to give power back to people who felt powerless like the mother whose daughter ran away. I took the next logical step and became a certified and ordained Chaplain. I am available to officiate funerals, memorial or remembrance services. And to complete your "One Stop Shopping" experience, I am also a Commissioned Notary.
