Before becoming a Private Investigator, David was a military intelligence analyst in the US Air Force. That training and experience is the foundation of the skill set he brings to his investigative operations. After a successful 24-year career in the Air Force, David transitioned to the corporate world and then later established the first investigative firm, My Texas PI. After nearly ten successful years with the San Antonio-based My Texas PI, he sold the business and relocated to the Galveston area to open his second investigative firm, Island Investigations. Today, David limits his investigations to the greater Galveston Island area; however, he may take on investigations outside that area on case-by-case basis. David holds degrees in Corporate Training & Development, Criminal Justice, and Communications Technology.

Island Investigations is Galveston-area, locale business ... not a Houston or out-of-state national PI firm. We have experienced, compassionate investigators skilled in surveillance and finding people, things, and the truth. We excel at uncovering and documenting worker's compensation fraud and evidence of infidelity. Our clients are attorneys and their clients, individuals, families, insurance companies, and businesses.
Established in 2016. After successfully establishing a San Antonio-area PI company and then selling it, David Caton formed Island Investigations when he and his family moved to the Galveston area. Although Island Investigations is a new company, their knowledge, skill, and experience is well established! David brings his 24-years as a military intelligence analyst and a dozen plus years as a private investigator to his small, but very professional Island Investigations firm. He is a member of the largest investigative association in Texas: Texas Association of License Investigators. He is also a certified Private Process Server and member of the Texas Process Servers Association.

I hired Island Investigations to find my brothers and sisters on my Fathers side I was a little reluctant at first to pay half up front with no idea what to Expect but I'm Glad that I' did. She found and help me get in contact with all my brothers and two of my sisters this last Thanksgiving was the best one ever we all zoomed in. The part that I was amazed about was I did not think I gave her a lot to work with well worth the $2,000.00 to get my family back.
