Hal began his law enforcement career in 1983 with the Lakewood, Colorado Police Department. As an "agent" with LPD, He held a number of special assignments including; K-9 Team, SWAT Team, and Burglary Investigations Team. During his tenure at LPD, Hal's performance and work product earned him numerous commendations and awards. In addition to his over 17 years with the Lakewood Police Department, Hal has also worked as an investigator with the Arapahoe County District Attorney's Office, and a Criminal Investigator assigned to the Financial Fraud Unit/Insurance Fraud Team at the Colorado Attorney General's Office. During his employment with these agencies, Hal acquired extensive experience in a variety of investigative areas, and earned numerous awards in recognition of his work product. Hal has also worked in the private sector as the "Western Regional Security Manager" for an international vending corporation
