I hired James Albee and his Metro Intelligence Agency in January of 2024 to investigate a motorcycle accident resulting in death. He charged $2575 upfront and an additional $1135 in February. He is a complete fraud and has not provided any services. When contacted, he will have a story of what he has nothing to report and give a date for when he will get back to me. That date will come and go without any word. I am now hiring a legit and verified PI through my representing lawyer. This business is a scam that takes advantage of vulnerable people. Do not trust this company. They sent us work and promised to pay the invoice and now they will not even respond. We will file a complaint with The State of CO next week if not paid in full. We have been helping clients for 24 years and we would never stiff someone that we hired. So beware of this company if they will screw us they will screw you. This review will be removed if they ever pay the invoice. You can tell this is not a reputable company as they have removed them selves from Google and that is all you need to know to run fast and stay away from this company. Sarafina Kidane has no credibility.

I hired James Albee and HIS METRO INTELLIGENCE AGENCY in June 2022 to photograph, document, and interview witnesses to an auto accident. it is now November 2022. James Albee aka METRO INTELLEGENCE AGENCY was supposed to photograph the scene and secure traffic camera footage along with interviewing critical witnesses. He charged me $2500. He also recommended the attorney that we ultimately used for the case. James Albee aka METRO INTELLEGENCE AGENCY never performed the agreed upon tasks and never provided the work needed to support our case. No photographs. No traffic cam footage. James never interviewed critical witness and as a result, they had since left town. He did Nothing for our $2500.00 We went through THREE pretrial conferences and James Albee aka METRO INTELLEGENCE AGENCY never provided what we paid for. NOTHING. He stonewalled our attorney during the entire process. We were unable to pay for a second investigator because James Albee had our money. Further, Despite James quoting $2500 for his services, he tacked another $300 just because he could. I have requested that he refund my money many times. Our attorney also had requested a refund. My requests have been are ignored and my calls go unanswered. This is not a scam review. It is factual. This is not buyers remorse. James Albee aka METRO INTELLEGENCE AGENCY online reviews must be have been posted by his drinking buddies because there is no way they are accurate or truthful. Buyer beware. No way was he was rated as a Top Three investigation company. There is no way that he has a A+ rating with the BBB. The ONE STAR rating should be zero but the system will not allow a Zero Star Rating for scammers.

He told me he'd have my information in 20 minutes, simple name, address, email, phone for a known relative & when I called him 3 hours later he pretended the form never came through & tried to blame it on me. Avoid at all costs. I'm a woman of a certain age but this guy is 75+ & just a scammer. He talks over you & has all the usual fox newsy type of average white guy mentality. The guy's a relic. AVOID.

I had my own law firm when we used Metro Intelligence Agency. The service was not great. We only used them for service of process and that service was not very good. Other than often needing multiple attempts, they also served the wrong person with divorce papers from another case. I received 10 months' worth of invoices in early 2020. It was a big hit ($2,000) and I had already wound down my firm by them, but I assured them I would pay them. I had one client who was very, very late on their own bill. That was not enough. Apparently, by May 1, 2020, they had filed a formal complaint with the Colorado Bar. I received the money from my client on May 7, 2020, and--as promised--paid them the same day.
