Established in 1990. Gotcha was founded in 1990 by Kraig Vorsatz who has been a process server for 22 years. He has become an expert in this field and specializes in serving the most evasive defendants and collecting judgments forcefully. We strive to live up to our name every day and be above the rest in our profession.

I hired Kraig recently to serve a particularly slippery defendant, whom the Sheriff's Dept had failed to successfully serve for the original small claims case. I had to serve him again for a hearing that would lead to a bank levy, and I wasn't able to use the same friend who had served the small claims paperwork (the court required professional service for this), but from that, I knew a strategy that would work. I called around to several professional process servers, and while Kraig was the most expensive, he seemed like the most capable, and very willing to be creative about serving the papers. Within a day or two, Kraig successfully served the papers with no headaches or extra work on my part. Plus, I didn't mind the expense, since the defendant had already lost and was going to have to pay. Maybe there's cheaper options out there, but if you want to make sure your papers get served, no headaches, Kraig's your guy. Less than a week later, and the defendant settled his debt out of court.

The people at Gotcha Legal Svcs, their Cotati Office in particular, did a superb job!!. Within less than 5 business days the papers were served. Fantastic service! Kraig responded to my initial inquiry immediately and efficiently and he was so easy to work with throughout the entire process! Kraig guided me through everything and he was always quick to answer all of my questions with kindness and professionalism. He even ensured that service was made prior to Christmas for me (despite it being a difficult service situation) in the midst of a busy season with little notice. I only found out about the obstacles the service presented after the fact as Kraig handled everything without even troubling me once. If you have to serve someone, I have two pieces of advice. 1) DO NOT use the default option; they'll find a way to mess it up. 2) DO use Gotcha Legal Services. They will understand EXACTLY what you need, and with reassuring professionalism, they'll get it done. Kraig was compassionate, helpful, and (with justification, it turned out) confident. No hassle.

I am amazed on how well this service is Ireached out to acquire about serving a restraining order. once the service was rendered, which was on a Saturday. It was completed that following Monday two days it took for the service to be complete. The communication was excellent.
