Established in 1987. Thomas F. Nickels graduated from the University of Maryland in 1980 with a dual major in Languages and Criminal Justice. While still in school, he worked full-time as the interim investigative manager for the Washington, D.C. Pinkerton office. After graduation, Thomas joined the Metropolitan Police Department and held the position of Police Officer, Third District, Washington, D.C., from 1979 until 1981. He worked as a Deputy Sheriff for New Hampshire's county department's i.e. Strafford and Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department from 1982 through 1987, and then began Nickels Investigations LLC in Manchester.
